Montana Kaimin (tabloid) redesign:

• This was a class assignment to reimagine our daily student newspaper. The images and stories were all pulled from montanakaimin.com. Alyssa designed the flag and decided to go with a more image-oriented tabloid, as compared with the publication’s traditional text-heavy news style.  For examples of the Kaimin’s Monday-Thursday style, see Alyssa’s published designs. Magazine Design:

• This was a class assignment to create an outdoors magazine with several spreads. The Grand Canyon story served as the cover story in Alyssa’s magazine. The Pantanal story served as a two-page opening spread. The Northwest Passage page served as a one-page opener for a story. All pages designed in InDesign 5.5.
